Phillipa Brown from New Zealand is Ladyhawke. She's a multi-instrumentist and singer /songwriter. Before assuming the name Ladyhawke, she formed the band Teenager and Empire of the Sun. She named herself after watch the movie Ladyhawke(1985). Her debut album, self titled, is full of energy and you can feel the 80's influence. Her track "Paris is Burning" was used in Chanel and Topshop runway shows in 2008. Phillipa started Ladyhawke out of a desire to do her own project where she could completely express herself in any way she wanted.Best Songs: "Magic", "My Delirium", "Paris is Burning", "Dusk Till Dawn" and "Back Of The Van".
